Friendship

Earn a friend by being a friend.
A friend is a person you like, care about, love with all your heart and know he/she very well.
As a young lady, I have come across all kinds of friends both the good and bad ones. I believe so much in friendship that I see anyone that does not have friends as a sadist. What I learnt in all is that friendship should not be measured in quantity but by quality. You may have many wonderful and caring acquaintance, but only a few true friends, someone you can count on for anything.
Real friendship is not about competition. It offers mutual respect, admiration{always tell your friend good things}, trust, joy, kindness and support {do not come up with excuses when they need you most}. A friend does not judge but will tell the truth when necessary, even if its painful. A true friend does not listen to what people say about you. A true friend loves you unconditionally despite all your flaws but is never a “yes” person, because you gain one and two things from your friend, you can’t tell he/she when they are wrong.
Stop for a moment and think about the people in your life. Do you have true friends? People you can count on through thick and thin, people you call up at any time of the day no matter their status in life, no matter what circumstances and distances that separate you? Do you have people in your life who love you just the way you are {fine or ugly} while supporting you in your growth, changes and advancements?
To keep and deepen your friendship, be a true and honest friend. You can’t buy friendship, you have to earn it. When you have a real friend, you have the greatest gift in the world.
